VEGARD fra Karasjok ble først kjent for et bredt nasjonalt publikum som deltaker i Stjernekamp på NRK, bare 19 år gammel. Siden den gang har han etablert seg som en allsidig kunstner – som artist og skuespiller, manusforfatter, serieskaper og filmregissør.

Poplåtene hans, med innflytelser fra techno-sjangeren og klubbkultur, har egenskapen til å både berøre og gi mot og stolthet til å være den man er. VEGARD byr på et sceneshow fylt av dynamikk og eksplosivitet – en feiring av det skeive og det samiske, i stolt samarbeid med Arctic Pride.

We welcome VEGARD back to Tromsø in collaboration with Arctic Pride, where on the last day of the Northern Lights Festival he will fill the stage with an explosive and energetic show

VEGARD, from Karasjok, first became known to a nationwide audience at just 19 years old as a contestant on NRK’s Stjernekamp. Since then, he has established himself as a versatile artist — as a musician and actor, screenwriter, series creator, and film director.

His pop songs, influenced by techno and club culture, have the power both to move audiences and to inspire courage and pride in being who you are. VEGARD promises a stage show filled with dynamism and explosive energy — a celebration of both queer and Sámi identity.
